Key points
- Can be run under ScummVM.
- Saves can be imported from Quest for Glory: So You Want to Be a Hero. Also, after completing the game it is possible to export character data to file in order to be imported to the next game in the series, Quest for Glory III: Wages of War. The import/export function is present in both the original version and the fanmade remake

Import patch
The GOG.com version has problems importing characters from Quest for Glory: So You Want to Be a Hero (the character will always be identified as a fighter, even if he's not actually one). There was an official patch for this issue.

Notes
- ↑ 1.0 1.1 File/folder structure within the installation folder reflects the path(s) listed for DOS game data. For the GOG.com release, file changes in DOSBox are redirected to
<path-to-game>/cloud_saves/
even if GOG Galaxy is not used (this folder contains all redirected files, so some files in the cloud_saves
folder might be temporary files or other files that do not contain saves or settings).
- ↑ 2.0 2.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in
~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/502750/
in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (502750) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
