Key points

The PC version on "Ultra" graphics has more detail compared to all other versions of the game, in addition to not using too much storage compared to Xbox One/PlayStation 4.
The PC version is based on the Xbox One/PlayStation 4 versions, which do not have offline mode and always require an internet connection to play, unlike the Nintendo Switch version. Additionally, it does not have the other improvements of the Nintendo Switch version, such as the removal of the game’s monetization
[1]
On certain systems, it is possible that Direct3D 12 may offer worse performance compared to Direct3D 11. Despite having a notice that optimization for Direct3D 12 will be improved in the future, the game no longer receives updates.

Microtransactions

Type Notes
Boost Rainbow Stars can be purchased with real money, which in turn allows the purchase of Prize Bulbs. These Prize Bulbs enable the completion of the prize map. Prize Bulbs can also be earned without spending money by playing the game and earning 4,000 XP to get a Prize Bulb. Additionally, they can be obtained by completing the "DAILY CHALLENGE", two challenges in which a certain amount of prize bundles are earned every day. These challenges require the completion of specific activities such as playing a certain mode. The last way to earn them without spending money is by completing specific challenges/Character Challenges with a specific character each month. For example, "earning 5,000 XP with Peashooter". Each week, a key is obtained which allows you to choose from 4 characters. Upon selecting a character, a list of 5 challenges is provided which can only be completed with the selected character. Completing these challenges earns 10 Prize Bulbs per character.
Cosmetic Rux’s shop sells exclusive skins for the store, the majority of which can only be obtained with Rainbow Stars. These include Cosmetics, Emotes, Gestures, and Item Sets. Some skins can be purchased with in-game currency.
Currency Rainbow Stars: Can be earned by completing weekly challenges, with up to 60 Rainbow Stars available each week. Additional Rainbow Stars can be found on the prize maps. Rainbow Stars can be used to purchase Prize Bulbs, cosmetics, or legendary upgrades for specific characters from the RUX's shop. However, Prize Bulbs can only be purchased directly from the prize map. Rainbow Stars can be purchased, ranging from 500 stars for $4.49 to 10,000 stars for $67.49.

Prize Bulbs: Are used to obtain customizations from prize maps. Prize Bulbs can be earned by using Rainbow Stars or completing specific challenges with a specific character each month. For example, "earning 5,000 XP with Peashooter". The characters rotate over 12 months, and after the 12 months are up, the rotation starts again from the first month.
Time-limited Through the Prize Maps, there are 42 or 43 items each month that can be obtained. With a total of 12 that rotate each month. Customizations and Rainbow Stars can be obtained from these maps, however, the majority of cosmetics, gestures, emotes, item sets, etc. can only be obtained through the prize map. The progress is saved whether you were able to complete it or not at 100 percent
[4].
[5]

Also, through character challenges, if all challenges are completed with all characters, a themed hat that all characters can use can be obtained each month (12 hats in total, 2 exclusive hat for "Kernel Corn" and "Scientist"} Note: The hats cannot be purchased with real money, they can only be obtained through character challenges.

The Founders Edition, which was only sold for a few time and was a pre-launch of the game, included 5 rewards that could only be obtained during that month, which are as follows:

1: Fire Defender, 1st week reward.

2: Ultimate Champ Star, Founders Edition 2nd week reward.

3: Dave Bubbles Victory Slab, Founders Edition 3rd week reward.

4: Pea of Valiance, Founders Edition 4th week reward.

5: Unicorn Stuffy, Available from Rux as a launch day gift from October 18, 2019 to November 1, 2019.
[6]
Unlock There are unique upgrades for certain characters that change their main weapon, which are called Legendary Upgrades. They can be purchased from the RUX's shop using Rainbow Stars, or in certain specific months, the upgrades can be obtained through the prize map by first getting the skin that costs 20 prize bundles and then obtaining the legendary upgrade at the end of the map that costs 0 prize orbs. there 4 in total:

1: Kernel Corn gets "Shogun Corn" which can be obtained through the prize map in the month of February.

2: Rose gets "Thron Apart" which can be obtained through the prize map in the month of April.

3: Scientist gets "Steam Blaster" which can be obtained through the prize map in the month of May.

4: SuperBrainz gets "Brainium Basher 9001" which can be obtained through the prize map in the month of July.
