No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle is a singleplayer third-person, side view, scrolling and top-down view hack and slash, quick time events and mini-games game in the No More Heroes series.

The PC port is based on the Nintendo Switch version (released on October 28, 2020), which was in turn based on the original Nintendo Wii version (released on January 26, 2010). The PC port of the game was lambasted by the community for issues regarding achievements, animations, audio, button layout still showing Switch glyphs and more.[1]

XSEED Games announced on October 12, 2022 that since launch in-house work was performed to develop patches to address issues with the pc port. The patch was released on April 7, 2025 and fixed various issues, added support for offline mode, and support for keyboard & mouse.[2]

Ectasy mode trigger isn't listed in the launcher for Gamepad and Keyboard, nor is it explained in-game. For gamepad is "select" and for keyboard is "7" in the numerical keys, NOT in the numpad. (this only works in both cases, when ectasy bar is full, meaning when Tiger is red and roaring).
