Widescreen resolution[edit]

Custom resolutions can be set manually. Note that image is Vert- and FOV should be increased to compensate.
Set custom resolution in-game[1]
  1. While in game open the console with ~.
  2. Type in and enter setres XXXXxYYYY (for example setres 1920x1080).
Set custom resolution with an .ini edit
  1. Edit LOTD.ini.
  2. Under [WinDrv.WindowsClient], set FullscreenViewportX and FullscreenViewportY to your desired values.

Field of view (FOV)[edit]

Set default FOV in-game[1]
  1. While in game open the console with ~.
  2. Type in and enter fov x where x is the desired FOV.
Set default FOV with an .ini edit
  1. Edit User.ini.
  2. Change DesiredFOV=65 and DefaultFOV=65 to your desired values.


Start in windowed[1]
  1. Go to the configuration file(s) location.
  2. Edit LOTD.ini.
  3. Change StartupFullscreen=true to StartupFullscreen=false.

Borderless fullscreen windowed[edit]

  1. Start the game in a window.
  2. Download and run SRWE.
  3. Attach the game process.
  4. Enable Remove borders.
  5. Enable Fake fullscreen.

Anisotropic filtering (AF)[edit]

Increase AF samples[1]
  1. Go to the configuration file(s) location.
  2. Edit LOTD.ini.
  3. Change LevelOfAnisotropy=1 to LevelOfAnisotropy=16.

Vertical sync (Vsync)[edit]

JoyV= and JoySlider1= must remain empty and DeadZone values are to be left untouched to prevent view controls from drifiting.[2]
Use Toggle followed by a command to bind a toggleable command as shown at Joy2. Aliases cannot be used.
Joysticks sensitivities can be individually set by modifying their SpeedBase values.
