Jane's Israeli Air Force is a singleplayer and multiplayer first-person and third-person action and vehicle combat game in the Jane's Combat Simulations series.

As of Windows XP, the game has had severe compatibility issues ranging from unresponsive menus and rendering problems. Tackleberry's patch is required to properly run the game on modern systems, at the cost of multiplayer mode no longer working.

Issues unresolved

Preferences menu does not render properly

In-game rendering issues with Windows 7

While in hardware mode, all aircraft are white tanks; in software mode, they are shown as two-tone tanks. Also, the terrain does not render properly while viewed from the cockpit.

Issues fixed

"The program can't start because d3drm.dll is missing" error

Add d3drm.dll to the installation folder[citation needed]
  1. In the Israeli Air Force CD, go to the DIRECTX folder.
  2. Copy the d3drm.dll file and paste it into the installation folder.
