Enable windowed mode and use the -popupwindow parameter (or see the glossary page).
Anisotropic filtering (AF)
Anti-aliasing (AA)
Vertical sync (Vsync)
Vsync is off by default and can't be changed in-game, which lead to visible tearing.
See the glossary page for potential workarounds.
60 FPS and 120+ FPS
Even without a native Vsync the game still forces an internal frame rate cap to match the current Hz resolution. On top of this the game has a very erratic presentation at both low and high frame rate (e.g. 60 FPS or 120 FPS), for this reason it's suggested to cap the game at 80 FPS for the smoothest experience. [Note 2]
High dynamic range display (HDR)
The game engine may allow for manual configuration of the game via its variables. See the Unity page for more details.

Notes

  1. 1.0 1.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/1350200/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (1350200) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
  2. This solution isn't viable for users with a 60 Hz display due to the aforementioned cap.
