Hired Guns: The Jagged Edge is a singleplayer bird's-eye view Tactical RPG game in the Jagged Alliance series.

The game was originally made with the Jagged Alliance IP in mind, with the working title being Jagged Alliance 3D. After an agreement with Strategy First was cancelled in September 2006[1], in the same quarter the game was supposed to have originally been released[2], it was renamed to Hired Guns: The Jagged Edge internationally, and ДЖАЗ: Работа по найму (Jazz: Mercenary Work) in the Russian-speaking market, released through multiple different publishers since October 2007. While the more obvious Jagged Alliance references were cut, some elements like the password for the in-game I.P.A. website (renamed I.M.P. from Jagged Alliance) being identical, and some mercenaries being little more than renamed versions of the originals visually and functionally.
