Grand Theft Auto Re: Liberty City Stories (or Re:LCS) was a total conversion mod for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and an unofficial PC port of the PlayStation 2 version of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories featuring improved graphics and native support for widescreen, XInput controllers, and keyboard & mouse.

Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories was released in 2005 on PlayStation Portable and later ported to PlayStation 2 in 2006. Development on this unofficial PC port began in 2017 and continued until 2021 when the developer decided to cancel the project and remove all official download links following a wave of anti-GTA modding actions from Take-Two Interactive.[2]

As of its cancellation in 2021 the beta 5.0 build 816 was the last version to have been released to the public while early access testers had access to a newer beta 6.0 build 15 version.

While the mod is no longer in development, the main story was fully playable in the latest publicly released version, beta 5.0.[3] However players of the newer early access version beta 6.0 would encounter an unhandled exception in one of the main missions, with a few other side missions[4] and the ferry being unavailable.

Start the game, go to options and disable the Frame Limiter. 60 FPS is now achieved. Do note that if you don't disable frame limiter in the options in-game, you won't have 60 FPS.
