My connection is acting oddly since some time.
Speedtests were awesome though. And so pingtests (aside of cases with limited spikes)
But when in-game (and even though the ping counter was quite low) I could distinctly feel something awkward when shooting here or rushing there.
You know, the usual lag symptoms where you get randomly killed by somebody that had already seen you ages before.
With this premise I lived the past 2 weeks.
But today I tested this. The result? Well.. Something between 3 and 5% of my data packets gets lost. And that's pretty high.
So where's the magic? What other applications failed to measure in the end was stability over something more than just a mere second
So, in the end not only ports opening checking[1] and instantaneous performance.. but also over time.
I'd also like to thanks (for once) DICE for having included packet loss test in BF hardline beta, which directed my attention of the matter
