Warnings

The Mac OS X version of this game does not work on Mac OS X Lion (version 10.7) or later due to the removal of support for PowerPC apps.

Glider Pro is a singleplayer and multiplayer flip screen action game in the Glider series. Published by Casady & Greene, it was the last installment in the series in the series for 17 years.

It was released for Classic Mac OS in 1994 with a Power PC version. It was ported to Mac OS X and released on January 10, 2002. It was released on August 1, 2003 as freeware by John Calhoun upon the closure of Cassady & Greene.[2]

The page was later taken down and Calhoun released a new entry in the series, Glider Classic (based on this version).[3] On January 26, 2016, John Calhoun released the source code for the game under the GPL-2.0 on GitHub.[4]
