  2. Open hardwaresettings/hardware_settings_config.xml with a notepad.
  3. Search for <anisotropic_filter level="16" /> and change it to either "0", "4", "8" or "16".
  4. Save and set file to Read-only, failing to-do so can overwrite the previous steps if settings are changed in-game.

Anti-aliasing (AA)[edit]

Custom AA[4]
  1. Go to the configuration files location.
  2. Open hardwaresettings/hardware_settings_config.xml with a notepad.
  3. Search for <antialiasing smaa="false" taa="true" checkerboard="false" /> and change the desired AA method from false to true.
  4. Save and set file to Read-only, failing to-do so can overwrite the previous steps if settings are changed in-game.

Motion blur[edit]

Disable Motion Blur[4]
  1. Go to the configuration files location.
  2. Open hardwaresettings/hardware_settings_config.xml with a notepad.
  3. Search for motionBlur="true" and change it from true to false.
  4. Save and set file to Read-only, failing to-do so can overwrite the previous steps if settings are changed in-game.
