Issues unresolved[edit]

Unresponsive controls[edit]

Some users may experience controls being unresponsive, where the game fails to detect that a key has been released. Some users perceive it as "drifting".[1] Tapping the associated key or button should return the behavior back to normal.

The issue does not occur with a controller.

Issues fixed[edit]

Nitro Not Working/Broken Nitro Visuals & Sounds[edit]

Nitro no longer functions properly, with glitchly visuals, distorted sound effect, and the nitro meter doesn't drain when using it.
Cap frame rate to 60 fps[2]
  1. Make a profile for 'deathtrack.exe' within your respective graphics card software.
  2. Force a frame rate cap of 60 within the profile.
V-sync is not required.
Fix applies to retail and Steam versions of the game.

Notes

  1. 1.0 1.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/7840/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (7840) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
