Thrustmaster TS Racer

The Thrustmaster T818 is a racing wheel base released by Thrustmaster in January 2023.

A departure from the usual belt-driven Thrustmaster racing wheels, the T818 features the direct-drive force feedback with up to 10Nm of torque. Another difference on the T818 is that it also has its own, clamp-based wheel quick release system that allows quick changing of steering wheels, at the cost of making existing Thrustmaster steering wheels incompatible unless a Quick Release Adapter is used. The T818 no longer have a Mini-DIN port, and in its place are a RJ45 port and a unspecified port for future Thrustmaster ecosystem. Pedal port, which also preset in previous Thrustmaster racing wheels, was left intact.

A bundle, T818 Ferrari SF1000 Simulator, was released on June 14, 2023. This bundle come with a Ferrari-branded cover plates for the wheel base and a licensed replica of the Ferrari SF1000 steering wheel.

As a PC-only wheel base, the T818 is compatible with games that support it, but requires to have Thrustmaster's driver to be installed to work. The wheel's settings can be adjust within the control panel (See Thrustmaster Control Panel). At present, only the wheel base package and the SF1000 bundle are available, so separate purchases of steering wheel(s), additional QR adapter(s) and a pedal set are required.
