The Logitech WingMan Formula are a series of racing wheels released by Logitech since 1998.

The WingMan Formula is Logitech's first racing wheel ever released. The Wingman Formula has bungee cords for steering centering, and has potentiometer for steering position tracking. It also come with a pedal set with 2 potentiometer-based pedal.

A model with a single-motor-gear-driven force feedback, the WingMan Formula Force, was released in 1999.

All WingMan Formula models are supported in games that incorporate Logitech's steering wheel SDK, but requires specific version of Logitech Gaming Software to be installed in order to work. Both model can be connected either directly to the game port or to the USB port via the included adapter.

Inputs

  • 1 × 2-axis steering wheel with 180-degree lock-to-lock

Windows 10 and Windows 11 detect the WingMan Formula and WingMan Formula Force as "Logitech WingMan Formula (Yellow)" and "Logitech WingMan Force" respectively, but is unusable without additional software.
Requires Logitech Gaming Software to be installed on the PC to work.

Logitech Gaming Software

The WingMan Formula requires the version 5.10.127 (32-bit and 64-bit) of the driver, which is known to be incompatible with hypervisor-protected code integrity (HVCI) security feature on Windows 10 and Windows 11.
Can cause software conflict with Logitech GHub if both software run simultaneously.
