Logitech G27 on Wikipedia

The Logitech G27 is a racing wheel released by Logitech on October 1, 2009.

While largely unchanged from its predecessor, the G25, the G27 has the same dual-gear-driven force feedback, but with the straight gears being replaced by the helical gears for quieter operation. Like the G25, it was bundled with a shifter (but with the sequential mode removed) and a pedal set with 3 spring-loaded, potentiometer-based pedals. The G27 also added a rev indicator LED on the steering wheel. The G27 has built-in table clamp and mounting holes, allowing it to be either mounted onto a table or a racing stand.

The G27 is supported in games that incorporate Logitech's steering wheel SDK, but requires specific version of Logitech Gaming Software to be installed in order to work. In addition, the rev indicator LED works on selected games natively, but some requires 3rd-party software to work.
