Natsume Inc. is a American video game publisher and was a former US division company of NatsumeAtari.
The company was established by Natsume Co., Ltd. (currently NatsumeAtari) in May 1988 and was primary localizing Natsume games for the US market. In 1995, Natsume and Natsume Inc. split and the latter become an independent company and set up a Japanese branch for video game development. Despite this, the two companies would collaborate on several occasions.
Natsume Inc. is known for publishing its own Harvest Moon games after the company lost the rights to Marvelous' Bokujou Monogatari games in 2012, which also saw Marvelous' game series become Story of Seasons outside of Japan.
