Widescreen resolution

Set widescreen resolution by modifying hex values
  1. Open graphics.cfg with a hex editor such as HxD or wxHexEditor.
  2. Convert the desired resolution to hexadecimal; 1920 x 1080 would be 07 80 and 04 38.
  3. Reverse the beginnings of the values so it would look like 08 07 and 38 04.
  4. Insert the values at decimal offset 00 and 04, the beginning of the file will look like this 80 07 00 00 38 04.
  5. Save the file and launch the game.

Notes

  1. 1.0 1.1 When running this game without elevated privileges (Run as administrator option), write operations against a location below %PROGRAMFILES%, %PROGRAMDATA%, or %WINDIR% might be redirected to %LOCALAPPDATA%\VirtualStore on Windows Vista and later (more details).
  2. 2.0 2.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/289200/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (289200) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
