Anito: Defend a Land Enraged is 2003 top-down role playing video game developed by Anino Entertainment. Billed as the first computer game to be developed by a Filipino studio, the game takes place in the 16th century in a fictional tribal kingdom inspired by pre-colonial Philippines just before the arrival of Spanish colonizers.

The game was released exclusively for Windows on November 2003.

Game crashes to desktop on modern Windows versions[edit]

Using the dgVoodoo fix will render the game using software mode; other API modes will result in either a completely white screen or corrupted graphics.
Use dgVoodoo2
  1. Download dgvoodoo2.
  2. Copy D3D8.DLL from the \MS\x86\ folder to the game install directory.
  3. Run dgVoodooCpl.exe.
  4. Go to General and set output API to Direct3D 11 MS WARP (software)
  5. Go to DirectX tab and set desired resolution.
