Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster[Note 2] is a singleplayer third-person JRPG game co-developed by Atlus and I.T.L and published by Sega. It is a remaster version of Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne[Note 3], the third numbered entry in the Shin Megami Tensei series, the central series of Megami Tensei.

The original game, also known as Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne in North America and Shin Megami Tensei: Lucifer's Call in Europe, was developed and first released by Atlus on PlayStation 2 in 2003. It later received two expansions exclusive to Japan: Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne Maniax in 2004, and Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne Maniax Chronicle Edition in 2008.

This remastered version is based on the Maniax Chronicle Edition of the game, featuring additional contents from the latter, with the additions of voice-acted cutscenes, dual audio languages and additional difficulty settings. Dante from the Devil May Cry series, which was present in the Maniax version of the original game, is sold as DLC.
