Musou Orochi Z[Note 1] is a singleplayer and multiplayer third-person hack and slash game developed by Omega Force and published by Koei Tecmo. It is a part of the Warriors Orochi franchise within the larger Warriors series.

The game was first released on PlayStation 3 in Japan on March 12, 2009 as a bundle game of Warriors Orochi and Warriors Orochi 2[Note 2]. It was ported to PC on November 27, 2009 in Japan[1] and on December 24, 2009 in Taiwan.[2]

On February 5, 2010, Koei Tecmo released a patch for the game where rock bolder sound continuous playing even after clearing the stage and certain character's model display bugs were fixed.
