Modify AppSettings.ini[2]

  2. Open AppSettings.ini with a text editor (e.g. Notepad).
  3. Find the ScreenWidth and ScreenHeight variables and set these values to match your desired resolution.
  4. Look for the line Fullscreen and set this to 0 to run the game in windowed mode.

Vertical sync (Vsync)

  2. Open AppSettings.ini with a text editor (e.g. Notepad).
  3. Find the line VSync and set this to 1 to enable Vsync.

High frame rate

Raise the frame rate cap in Config.ini[3]
  1. Go to the configuration file(s) location.
  2. Open Config.ini with a text editor (e.g. Notepad).
  3. Find the line MaxFrameRate and raise its value to your desired frame rate.

Notes

Increasing the frame rate cap above your display's refresh rate can negatively impact mouse control.[4]

    Attempted to raise the frame-rate cap to 120 FPS on a 60Hz display caused mouse cursor movement to move slowly whereas mouse movement worked fine at 60 FPS. Cannot be certain if this is true for 120Hz displays with a 120 FPS cap.
