The Xbox 360 is a video game console released by Microsoft on November 22, 2005. It is a 7th-generation video game console.
The Xbox 360 is powered by a custom-made tri-core PowerPC Xenon CPU and a semi-custom ATI TeraScale-based Xenos GPU, with 512 MB of unified system memory. It utilize the DVD as its game media format and has a detachable internal hard drive. Its primary controller is the Xbox 360 Controller. Later models of the console combined both the CPU and GPU into a Microsoft XCGPU SoC.
