Essential improvements

Patches

Latest patch is version 1.0a available here.

dgVoodoo 2

This game is rendered in 16 bit color depth, dgVoodoo 2 forces 32 bit color depth which significantly improves the rendering quality.
Instructions[1]
  1. Download the latest version of dgVoodoo 2 and unpack it (confirmed working with version 2.54).
  2. Copy all the files from the MS folder.
  3. Paste the files into the game installation folder.
Increasing HUD and text size[1]
  1. Run dgVoodooCpl.exe and in DirectX tab select your desired resolution.
  2. In the game video settings menu (or the config file) set a resolution that is lower than the one set in dgVoodoo 2. The lower the resolution selected in game, the bigger the HUD and text will be rendered on screen.
