Missing cockpit parts

When running the game in resolution higher than 640x480 or 800x600, some cockpit elements may be missing.

Issues running the configuration utility

Set the VRally2_Setup.exe to run in Windows 95 compatibility.[1]
  1. Right-click the VRally2_Setup.exe. From the drop-down menu, select Properties.
  2. Once the window is open, select the Compatibility tab.
  3. Select Windows 95 and Apply changes.
  4. Run the configuration utility.

Graphical issues on newer versions of Windows

Use dgVoodoo 2
  1. Download the latest version of dgVoodoo 2 and extract the archive.
  2. Open the MS\x86 folder and copy D3D8.dll, D3DImm.dll and DDraw.dll files.
  3. Paste the files into the game installation folder where the game executable is.
  4. Run dgVoodooCpl.exe.
  5. Click the [.\] button below the banner.
  6. Change General settings according to your hardware.
  7. Under the DirectX tab, choose a Video card. You can also change various performance and video settings.
  8. Change the resolution to anything desired.
  9. Click Apply.
