Uncharted Waters [Note 1] is a singleplayer strategy and Tactical RPG game developed and published by Koei. It is the first entry in the Uncharted Waters series, a sub-series of the Rekoeition Game series.

Originally released on PC-9801 on July 26, 1990, the game was later ported to multiple platforms. It received the localized North America release on Mac OS (Classic) and DOS in 1991. The Windows version of the game was released in Japan on July 15, 2005. As part of the Kou Shibusawa Archives, the game was re-released internationally by Koei Tecmo on Steam on April 18, 2017, though the Steam release does not have the English language option that the Mac OS and DOS version has.
