Issues fixed

Run the game at screen refresh rate

Fullscreen mode defaults to 60 Hz, even if the screen refresh rate is set higher than that.
Set refresh rate manually[citation needed]

Use the -refresh_rate_override 120 command line argument, where 120 is the screen refresh rate.

Co-op unable to detect multiple control types

Enable multiple mice and keyboards[citation needed]
  1. Open the Launcher
  2. Go to the advanced menu
  3. Make sure that you have "enable multiple mice and keyboards" checked.
Edit options.txt[citation needed]
  1. If that does not fix the problem, go to the Trine folder.
  2. Open the config folder, and then open options.txt in a text editor
  3. In that file, you should find something like this:
player1_keyboard_ID = 0
player1_mouse_ID = 0
player2_keyboard_ID = 1
player2_mouse_ID = 1
player3_keyboard_ID = 2
player3_mouse_ID = 2

Notes

You can now manually assign mice and keyboards to the correct players by changing the ID numbers. You may have to open and close the game a few times, testing the controls each time, to determine which numbers refer to which mice and keyboards. Be aware that the ID numbers may not perfectly match up as 0's for player 1 and 1's for player 2, etc., as in this example. You may want, for instance, player 1 to have keyboard 2 and mouse 0, depending on what numbers your computer has assigned to which devices.
