If you're playing at a high frame rate, you must set "Max frame rate" in the game's options menu to either 30 or 60 FPS, then enter your custom frame rate using the UE4 developer console. If you don't, Vsync will be disabled whenever you enter an area that's separated by a loading screen.[6]
