Topic on Glossary talk:Multi-monitor

Summary by Bowi

I shared my concerns about how the relevance and use of a multi-monitor setup was not obvious to me and how a better explanation would be neat, and another user made an incredible contribution to the article in response. Case closed, IMHO.

I think this article fails to explain what multi-monitor setups mean in gaming. I'll have a look at the Editing Guide now... Maybe the guide will help me. 🤷‍♂️ -Bowi (talk) 22:44, 29 March 2025 (UTC)

I've extensively extended the initial description, as well as added a section about super-wide (which this is not).

While this glossary page is meant to focus on multi-monitor as a general concept, the Editing Guide describes more specifically how it should be tracked on PCGW. Right now, PCGW typically requires a game to support 3+ more spanned displays to be regarded as having multi-monitor support, even though technically speaking 2+ configurations (super-wide) is probably more common nowadays.
