Like all downloads, it is "use at your own risk".
That said, I can't imagine it could do anything malicious, since it's just some text files, as far as I can tell. As for "not safe to use website", well, you can always try downloading it in a sandboxed VM if you're concerned about a potential monkey-in-the-middle attack.
