I can't get HDR to work properly, the gamma is all wrong and colours are wrong, it just looks really bad. SDR is perfectly fine and other games on this system have no issues in HDR.

Its like its being "double-tonemapped" or something. I've seen other people with 10-series cards say this also. I don't understand whats going wrong here. I tried in borderless fullscreen as well and its the same, I didnt think that would work but dev said its possible the way they are doing HDR.

Any help is very appreciated.

Just in case this happens to anyone else I fixed it by alt-entering a few times while HDR was active at the main menu. I may also have changed the resolution to below native 4K and back a couple of times.

After that the HDR works properly on every boot, no need to do that every time or anything.

I've had this issue many times on Windows 10. Every single HDR game was broken for me. I upgraded to Windows 11 and everything has been fixed.

alt+enter does fix it after a few times but only if you're playing with keyboard+mouse, and only if you don't ever press "esc" for some reaons presisng "esc" makes it bad again and if you lay with a controller, touching any button in the controller makes it bad again... Guess I'm playing this one in SDR then... Really sad how it's been multiple months since this game came out and they never fixed this glarin issue.
