I have it in Steam and playerinfo.dat is in Steam\userdata\<id>\26500\remote, while config and log is in %localappdata%\Lazy 8 Studios\Cogs\

What store is your version from?

%appdata% should lead to C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming %localappdata% should lead to C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local That's on Win10, Win7 and below paths will be different.
