Cider is a "wrapper" rather than a proper engine, so I've migrated your additions to the |wrapper= parameter of the OS X release dates (I realise this isn't explained in the editing guide at the moment).

Thanks! That was my intentions the whole time, the engine page was just a placeholder as I didn't know how to implement that.
