What "leftover" issue was there with MS points?

Imo, it's not really the same, given:

  • a) MSp were a live currency actively used all around the actual "system" (not just some niche thing, not even used in newer games, so abandoned that it even skips store-wide sales)
  • b) for as much as an individual could buy "more points than needed" and be "disappointed".. It's still a case that (realistically) you can still always use them to buy something else. With BWp instead, you can reach a situation where you are left with some funds, but there's physically no content else to buy (with the money basically gifted to EA Bioware)
