Please don't delete, move to a more suitable place if required and only delete false information.

Could you specify what you have problems with? I reviewed some of his contributions as you asked us on IRC, and I didn't immediately see anything problematic.

Something like loading times idk where that could possibly be moved to only idea i got is system requirements as for those other ones between key bindings and all personally they should be be put in the video settings section or input setting section

While I'd like to thank you for your contribution and don't have anything to say about the other sections, I disagree about your removal of the black and white fix for Intel GPUs. Even in 2017, some people are still gaming with Intel GPUs and some are still experiencing this issue. Would you mind restoring it?

PlayaOfGames (talkcontribs)

Well the thing is intel gpus are not even close to even run games like Alan wake i used to have intel gpu and it had numerous issues with games not only was it is black and white issue on same games but most intel gpus can handle the old games like source games and all as for that fix honestly its common sense to just keep the drivers up to date i remember i had same issue with saints row 3 intel gpu ran it like shit but the textures were all flashing bright colors and black etc until i updated the driver fixed it but still performance was bad lol until i got my gaming rig.

Genesis (talkcontribs)

Intel GPUs are indeed not meant for gaming, but that doesn't mean people are going to stop using them. Not everyone uses common sense either, otherwise we wouldn't have people asking for help for things that have already been answered numerous times.

I helped people with Intel GPUs run Alan Wake, they knew their rig was bad and the framerate wasn't good (30-ish), yet they were ok with that. You see, not everyone can afford a gaming PC and some people are just grateful if they can enjoy the game at a decent framerate, no matter how bad the game looks.

We're on this wiki to help people. Do you think removing a fix that could still be valuable nowadays to some people (even if that's a tiny portion of the players) goes along these lines?

PlayaOfGames (talkcontribs)

But the thing is as I said before stuff like long load times should only be added if its been added globaly to all games theres many games with long load times i mean fuck look at battle field 4 jesus you think these load times are bad look at that game its like saying oh negative key point for a game having uplay or what not.I am not deleting for shits and giggles like the no account trolls would do.

Mars icecream (talkcontribs)

Battlefield 4 is a graphically advanced game with large maps. Max Payne 3's loading times are clearly artificially long and remind me of the console version (if not even identical in length).

You make good edits as well, but please only delete spam and false info. See this sample article and observe setting tables: http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/PCGamingWiki:Sample_article

Honestly Mars, most of the stuff he's deleting, even what you specifically pointed out above, IS spam and or false. This isn't vandalism, this is keeping the wiki neat and tidy.

I'll go item by item with what you brought up above

  • The Witcher 2- at best that's a note in the video/input/localization settings table. I don't care it was removed and not moved. It's not important.
  • Max Payne 3- I can't think of any place to fit "long loading times". It's unnecessary and should have been removed.
  • TES Online- name ONE game with cross play. Again, I can't think of anywhere you could fit this into the article- maybe a bullet under 'other information'?
  • Sleeping dogs- there is already a mention of this under the 'input' table. The removal of this point is inarguably correct.
  • Bioshock Infinite- Again, this information doesn't really belong anywhere in the article. It's inherently brought up in the 'issues fixed' section.
