So basically there's no way to disable or skip intro videos and they take 26 seconds to end. Then somehow it seems like they have completely forgotteng players with keyboard and mouse only and speeding up that intro is only possible with XInput controllers first button (A) which speeds up intro considerabely to 14 seconds.

I'm assuming this should be mentioned on the page in some form as there are players who play it with keyboard and mouse only. Problem is that it's not exactly an issue, more of an oversight from developer to not have any keyboard key bind to speeding up the intro. Now I though it should be key point then but apparenlty MOJ didn't agree. Then should it be mentioned at the input section next to konami code (which is also an oversight from developer, also good way to unlock stuff if player has completed the game on other platform already), but I wouldn't look there first when I'm trying to skip intro videos, usually that intro skipping is mentioned on essential improvements, but putting "get controller" there isn't exactly essential or improvement.

I thought the keypoint was fine-ish, maybe it's a bit too much though.

RaTcHeT302 (talkcontribs)

I added it under input settings, are you and MOJ happy with that?

Markie (talkcontribs)

Whatever for me '-' But anyway the capability to skip intro videos isn't that important to be set as a key point to a game, key points are definitively game changing factors, and i don't think that's one. And RaTcHeT302, if you don't see the point in stating the amount of samples in a game, you will need to remove over nine thousand "Up to 16 samples" from pages.

The AF setting in pretty much any game always goes up to x16 and you'd have to state that for pretty much every game on the wiki which is kinda stupid. As I said already, just use the notes field when there's some odd thing about it instead, the x16 thingy is too common so there's no real point in writing that.

I can't really be bothered to write a better argument right now but anyway it feels a bit redundant for the most part.

If intros were regular few seconds, I would agree of them not being exactly highest priority, but when they take almost half a minute and are impossible to speed up unless user has XInput compatible controller, it becomes at least notable.

"Up to 16 samples" isn't technically incorrect, but indeed that's the value that is assumed if AF is given as option by the game. So there's no need to specifically remove them individually.

So let's just keep point about intro videos under input then.

RaTcHeT302 - Ok, on second thought, you're right. I'll remove it from some pages i know then.

Marioysikax - I don't remember cutscenes being that long, maybe it's a specific problem with you. Anyway ok, let's keep it there.

Honestly, it's not a big deal. Unless you trying to iteratively test things, it's not even remotely irritating to me.

I had to test this game a ton for a lot of stuff in regards to AA and other things. And it did get irritating. But for just playing the game, it doesn't bother me remotely as much. If it was a competitive online MP game then yeah it would be a bit more irritating.

I'm weird I guess
