Purchasing TWAU doesn't grant only a steam key but also a most probably DRM-FREE redeem through TellTale site.

In TWAU Humble store page the game appears as an only steam key purchase. Actually when bought you can see there's the option to use a TellTale key to activate on the developers site ( http://www.telltalegames.com/redeem ) I'm not sure if it's an one-time activation(most likely) or there's a limited simultaneous installations trough pc's (apparently no) or else. I'm not sure if this could qualify DRM-FREE but you can download both on HB and on TT site.

I hope this could help. I didn't find anything about.

Download the game and see if it's actually DRM-Free? You alread have the game so you could download it.

I've to correct myself. You can download only on TellTale site. However, If I remember right, I bought the game on 24 dec 14, I downloaded the game and a sort of activation wizard did its thing after or before the installation. Now I re-installed the game and it did only the normal installation wizard. I'll install on a different pc ASAP. It's a .msi. Conclusion: It's a one time activation DRM FREE installer.

Telltale Games has a DRM system for their recent releases (except those sold through Steam or GOG.com). I've added a mention to the page now.
