As you've probably noticed, I've been making edits to your edits to Fable Anniversary. In the interest of explaining myself and teaching some useful information, here's why I did the edits I did:

  • The checkboxes in the various sections (graphics, audio, etc.) note whether a game natively supports a particular option. For example, if a game has anti-aliasing, set antialiasing to true in the wiki page editor.
  • Notes are for useful information not implied by a check, cross, or wrench (true, false, or hackable, respectively in the wiki page editor) in the checkboxes. For example, if a game has anti-aliasing, notes are used to indicate what levels of anti-aliasing are used (i.e. 2x, 4x, 2x SMAA, etc.). Another example is if a game has both external (i.e application separate from the game) and internal options, notes are used to indicate which one allows changing that particular option and what differences, if any, exist between them; an example would be when external settings only allow changing resolutions to those from a preset list, while internal settings let you use whatever resolution both the game and your monitor support.
  • Notes are also useful, as I see you already know, to point people to particular issues.
  • Fixes always go into either the Issues fixed or Issues unresolved section of the wiki, which go between the Audio settings and System requirements section of a page if they don't exist. How do you know where to put a fix or issue? If a fix exists for an issue, put it in Issues fixed; otherwise, put it in Issues unresolved.
  • Don't be afraid to ask for help with things you're unsure of, whether you PM a moderator on the forums or on the discussion section of their user page on the wiki, ask in the discussion section for the wiki page in question, or submit a question on the IRC (Internet Relay Chat). For example, I had to ask how to document the registry settings for Earth 2150 and its standalone expansions - which, unlike most games, spreads their useful settings across two parts of the system registry!
  • Last, when in doubt, look at other pages which don't have a stub or cleanup tag as their layout, design, and wording are useful to learn from. Some pages I'd recommend are Earth 2160, Just Cause 2, and The Witcher.

I hope this proves useful to you, Weion, and don't be afraid to ask me any questions about what I explained above.

Thank you for the helpful information, this is really my first time adding to a new wiki page, my only other edits were to the Halo titles.

Just for clarification, was I correct in saying that the Mouse Acceleration was Hackable, because it is not natively supported but it is technically natively supported by the Unreal Engine.

I will be sure to ask if I am unsure of anything else, again thank you.

Yes, you are correct in saying that the Mouse Acceleration was Hackable because of the exact reason you said! :)
