Mouse acceleration
- Mouse acceleration is present whenever you equip/shoulder your weapon, as well as during aiming.
| Edit ESetting.ini[3] |

|
Controller support
- This fix makes XInput controllers somewhat compatible (menus can be navigated without a mouse, however cutscenes can't be skipped with a controller).

Rendering issues on modern PCs
- Due to relying on now-obsolete functionality in Nvidia GPUs, the default "buffer" shadows are broken on modern hardware. This impacts gameplay as many light sources such as searchlights become invisible but can still trigger alarms.
- Sea and water may flicker in some maps.
- Torchlight doesn't work in multiplayer.
Use dgVoodoo2
Use dgVoodoo2[3] - Download dgVoodoo2 from the official website.
- Extract the contents to the folder of your choice.
- Open
dgVoodooCpl.exeand click theDirectXtab. - Under
VideocardselectGeForce 4 Ti 4800from the drop-down menu. - Select
256 MBfrom theVRAMdrop-down menu. - Click
ApplyandOKat the bottom of the dgVoodoo 2 application window. - Copy
D3D8.dllfile fromdgVoodoo2\MS\folder to<path-to-game>\systemfolder.
Notes
- Requires dgVoodoo2 2.53 or later (included in the newest version of ThirteenAG's Widescreen Fix).
Experimental fix[citation needed] - Download this experimental fix.
- Drop the
d3d8.dllfile next to the game's executable (<path-to-game>\offline\system).
Cutscenes crashing
- Cutscenes at any random point will crash with a "General protection fault!" error
Use a newer binkw32.dll - Download the .dll file.
- Drop the
binkw32.dllfile next to the game's executable (<path-to-game>\offline\system).

Instructions[3] - Download the archive from here.
- Extract the archive and copy the

Notes
- Although in higher resolution, the HD textures often look bland (especially wood), so installing the pack is not necessarily an improvement. The file HUDPC.utx contains a hud comepletely different from the original and original ads have been removed. Moreover, some textures present transparency problems when applied directly in the pc version, an example would be the train lights that leak through the grids on the second mission at the beginning, in this case the grids do not let the light pass correctly and have a black texture where it should be invisible.
