Tom Clancy's Politika is a singleplayer and multiplayer TBS game in the Tom Clancy series.
On its back cover, the game was advertised as the first major title which used Java.
The game is not possible to run on modern systems as of August 2023. The game requires Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 with a Java plug-in (both included on disc), so using a virtual machine is required. Additionally, the main game setup and the patch distribution are enclosed in a 16-bit WinZip self-extractor (despite the game itself being 32-bit), requiring WineVDM/OTVDM to execute on 64-bit systems.
