Game installer crashes on startup

Setup compatibility settings[citation needed]
  1. Go to the base directory for the Theme Park Inc./SimCoaster CD.
  2. Enable the following compatibility settings for the autorun.exe file: Compatibility mode (Windows XP (Service Pack 3)).
  3. Run the autorun.exe file.

Game crashes on startup

Use dgVoodoo 2[citation needed]
  1. Download and setup dgVoodoo 2.
  2. Once the initial setup is done, go to the MS subfolder.
  3. Copy the D3DImm.dll and DDraw.dll files and paste them into <path-to-game>.
  4. Run the game.

Game doesn't work on Windows 10

Change the settings files manually[citation needed]
  1. Navigate to the installation folder and open the "Data" subfolder
  2. Open low.sam, med.sam and high.sam with a text editor (Notepad++ is recommended)
  3. In all 3 files, change both the value of GraphicalOptions.RENDER32 and GraphicalOptions.TEXTURE32 from 0 to 1
  4. Run the game.
