This mod requires java installed. Java is used for the mod's launcher.

Performance Optimizations, Pathfinding Fixes & UI Improvements[2]
Rewrites the engine, allowing for performance & pathfinding optimizations as well as UI improvements for modern systems.
Compatible with co8, GOG.com and CD-ROM version of the game with Patch 2 installed.
Although it contains many bugfixes, it still does not fix some things co8 takes care of, so installation of both is recommended.

  1. Launch DxWnd and add a shortcut to ToEE.exe
    • Main tab: Run in Window checked. Choose "Desktop" if going for borderless windowed, or Desktop Center otherwise.
    • Video: Emulate Win Maximize.
  2. ToEE.cfg: Edit video_width and video_height to match desired resolution. Note that height is before width.

Notes

If the game's resolution is set too high, character models and fog of war will not be rendered.
Window may be initially pinned; tab in and out of the game to have it behave normally

  • Backup the existing temple.dll file.
  • Download the replacement file, unzip, and place in main game folder.
