Rewrites the engine, allowing for performance & pathfinding optimizations as well as UI improvements for modern systems.

Compatible with GOG.com and CD-ROM version of the game with Patch 2 installed, as well as the Circle of Eight modpack.

Although it contains many bugfixes, it still does not fix some things co8 takes care of, so installation of both is recommended.

DxWnd

Launch DxWnd and add a shortcut to ToEE.exe. Main tab: Run in Window checked. Choose "Desktop" if going for borderless windowed, or Desktop Center otherwise. Video: Emulate Win Maximize. Open ToEE.cfg and edit video_width and video_height to match the desired resolution. Note that height is set before width. Notes If the game's resolution is set too high, character models and fog of war will not be rendered. Window may be initially pinned; tab in and out of the game to fix this.

Crash on startup

Replace temple.dll
Back up the existing temple.dll file. Download the replacement file and extract it to <path-to-game>. Notes Applies to one type of crash after "initializing sector data".
