Essential improvements

Skip intro movie

Delete intro video[1]
  1. Navigate to <path-to-game>\TheOccupation\Content\Movies\.
  2. Delete or rename S_LoadupSplashScreens.mp4.

Notes

The game may stay on a black screen for some time while loading, depending on hard drive speed.
This fix is still recommended, as the startup logos would otherwise be unskippable.

  1. 1.0 1.1 File/folder structure within this directory reflects the path(s) listed for Windows and/or Steam game data (use Wine regedit to access Windows registry paths). Games with Steam Cloud support may store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/765880/ in addition to or instead of this directory. The app ID (765880) may differ in some cases. Treat backslashes as forward slashes. See the glossary page for details.
