Issues fixed
Cannot Get The Game To Run
The game executable of some versions might not work on 64-Bit operating systems due to them being 16-Bit programs.
Additionally despite choosing "Complete Installation" the game will usually try to load many files from the CD and might not find it.
| Instructions[1] |
|---|
|
Install the game (Complete Installation) via Setup.exe or Launcher.exe. (Either file will need the Windows 95 Compatibility Mode on modern operating systems) If you use the regular executable to start the game and the CD cannot be found, it will most likely crash when you select one of the 4 minigames. When that happens, ignore the game's executable and use Launcher.exe (from the CD) instead. You can copy the CD's content somewhere and start Launcher.exe from there aswell. The CD will not be required. The game should launch and work properly now. If the game suffers from a very bad framerate, disable Nvidia Shadowplay. If you cannot install the game for whatever reason, you will need at least the correct registry entries. A tutorial with attached sample registry entries can be found on here: http://www.danjb.com/blog/how_to_gamebreak |
