Saves and characters can be imported from Death Knights of Krynn.
Load Death Knights of Krynn save game[2]
  1. Ensure the save and character files are in the expected location.
    • For GOG.com, copy the contents of the Death Knights of Krynn SAVE folder into The Dark Queen of Krynn SAVE_KN folder.
    • For retail, run INSTALL.EXE to set the location of the Death Knights of Krynn save folder.
  2. Run The Dark Queen of Krynn and choose DKK when adding characters or loading a save game.

Gold Box Companion

Gold Box Companion is a program for Windows that adds various optional features when playing the DOS version in DOSBox (automap, party HUD, raising level restrictions, character editing, etc.)
