Issues unresolved

Performance is very limited

Due to the game's CPU utilization being very single-thread limited, the CPU is underutilized and subsequently performance is severely impaired.[6]

Game will not launch due to VR hook

If VR hardware is used, you may be unable to launch the game without its requisite software running.
Workaround: delete VR hook files[7]
  1. Delete <path-to-game>/Engine/Binaries/ThirdParty/OpenXR/win64/openxr_loader.dll.

Shader compilation stutter

The game suffers from noticeable stutters during gameplay, which is caused by shader compilation that occurs during gameplay whenever the CPU compiles the shader of a new effect appearing on the screen. The game does not pre-compile its shaders.[6][8][9][3] The developers have acknowledged this problem and are working on a fix.[10]
Workaround: create shader cache on load (DX11-only)[11]
Switching to DX11 causes some graphical options to become unavailable, see Video table.
Increases loading times.
  1. Switch the game to DirectX 11 in the grahpics menu.
  2. Insert the following lines in Engine.ini, located in config file location.
[/script/engine.renderersettings]
r.CreateShadersOnLoad=1
