This game does not work on Windows 10

So I saw this game on YouTube and decided to try it out. Downloaded it from my abandoneware, installed it as the instruction says, but the game does not work. First it launches, but then when it reaches the title screen, it crashes back to desktop with no error whatsoever. I read that it does not work on more modern Windows systems and that you need either dgVoodoo or Wine3D to make it work. And I installed Wine3D, but it does not work. Game crashes the same as before. So, is there any solution to this or what? Because, I really wanted to play this game but I can't. Sure, I could try dgVoodoo, but since it causes the performance problems, I don't want to mess with that bullshit.

UPD: Forget it. I managed to make it launch but it lags so freaking heavily that it is unplayable. And again, I tried Wine3D but it does not increase performance whatsoever. So fuck it. This is your so called popular Windows 10, ladies and gentleman. All of the people were barking to me about how great Windows 10 is, back when I was on Windows 7, but guess what, YOU CAN'T EVEN MAKE A VIDEO GAME RUN ON IT!!! Fucking Microsoft. If I could punch each of them in their face for this, then I would so hard that, I would punch them out of their existence! And if their future Windows will be as bad as this one, then I'm gonna switch to a fucking Linux Ubuntu or Linux Mint!!!
