Missable Youkol relic

The monastery library's secret compartment and related window permanently close if one leaves the area without having taken the Youkol relic. The game prevents the player from re-lighting the necessary candles, and the item is required in order to progress. Thus, the only solution is to load an earlier save file.

Issues fixed

Irregular game speed and unsychronized sound

Certain animations, such as mouth movement, are tied to frame rate. Consequently, at high frame rates, animations appear erratic and sound may become unsychronized.

Limit frame rate
Force Vsync externally. Alternatively, use a frame-rate-capping method.

Black screen in the general store

The game has a tendency to switch to a black screen after the cutscene in which the general store owner pulls down the ladder leading to the attic, at which point the player is unable to progress.

Restart the game
Restart the game. Load a save made prior to the cutscene. Trigger the cutscene again.

Skip the cutscene
During the ladder-pull-down cutscene, press Esc multiple times in order to skip to the next scene.
