The game will crash on Windows 8 machines when trying to play too many sounds at once.

This is a crash fix without added features

Download the Windows 8 Crash Fix.
Extract the downloaded files to your supercratebox folder, replacing the existing supercratebox.exe when prompted.

How to fix Failed to load the game data. File seems corrupted issue^{[citation needed]}

This is a weird issue not sure what causes it but it's easy to fix.

Go to the Startmenu and type services.
Find Printer Spooler in the services and stop it, and the game should run with no issues now.
