Version differences
- The Steam Edition is the 2016 enhanced release with Steamworks multiplayer (in place of LAN and the deprecated GameSpy service) Workshop integration, an exclusive map pack, native widescreen support, and some redone graphics.

Patches
- The newest patch for the non-Steam version is 1.2. Patches for the game can be found on the official website or Patches-Scrolls.
- The Steam version received a separate patch and shows version 1.3 Steam.
